On Friday, May 27, the II International scientific forum “Innovative prospects of Donbass: infrastructure and social and economic development” opened in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Today, on May 19, at the M. Tugan-Baranovsky Donetsk national University of economy and trade a solemn delivery of the Russian diplomas has taken place. These are 135 diplomas of the Kuban state technological University.
“Diplomas are gained by graduates of DonNUET of 2015 who this academic year were trained at the Kuban state technological University according to the program of the external studies, – Larisa Polyakova noted in communication with members of the media. – Practically all higher education institutions of the DPR are in contact with higher education institutions of the Russian Federation and not only. About 40 memorandums, contracts on cooperation have been signed so far. We develop this cooperation, and not only in education, but also in the field of science”.

Today, on May 12, the convention forum “Strategy of the future” has taken place in Lenin Komsomol Park. The Chairman of National Council of the DPR Denis Pushilin, the first deputy head of executive committee of SM “Donetsk Republic” Andrey Kramar, heads of several ministries, Labor Unions Federation of the DPR and other officials have taken part in its work.
There was a presentation of stands with achievements and plans for the near future of each ministry. The enterprises of the Donetsk People’s Republic presented their products in pavilions.

On the basis of Scientific Research, Design and Technology Institute of explosion-proof and mining electrical equipment there has taken place the meeting of the Council for Science of the DPR MES which was held by the Minister of Education and Science of the DPR Larisa Polyakova.
The director of this institute known as NIIVE Evgeny Varenik (prior to the beginning of the official part he conducted a tour around the institute, production workshops and laboratories) delivered a report on scientific, technical and scientific activities, and implementation of the budgetary science topics in 2015. According to him, six complex research departments work at the institute, with a laboratory in each one. Pilot and experimental production is operating. The object of collective pride is an explosion-proof equipment test chamber and also unique climatic chambers where it is possible to simulate any climatic conditions. As emphasized Evgeny Varenik, in 2015 scope of five scientific works was directed to mine equipment cost reduction, creation of new equipment and substations with absolutely new characteristics, etc.

Information on procedure of passing Unified State Examination (USE) is published on the official DNR MES site.
“On January 27 in Moscow took place a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR concerning the organization of Unified State Examination by school leavers of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The schedule of Unified State Examination will be published on the official DPR MES site. Within the next week the registration form for all leavers of 11 classes wishing to take the Unified State Examination will be also published on the website. Depending on number of interested persons we will carry out further organizational work”, – Larisa Polyakova commented.

This was stated by the Minister of Education and Science of the DPR Larisa Polyakova on December 10 during the big press conference in Donetsk News Agency on summing up for the year 2015. “Diplomas of DPR higher education institutions are recognized by the Russian Federation. We are carrying out work on cooperation with Russian higher education institutions. More than 2 thousand graduates have passed certification, defended their thesis, passed final examinations in Russian higher education institutions and received (though not yet all) diplomas of the Russian type. This process is going on, the requirements of our partners from the Russian Federation are being fulfilled in the time frames necessary for obtaining Russian diplomas. Process of issuing such documents is planned to be finished in the spring of 2016”, – L. Polyakova marked out.
